Which was read.
                On motion of Mr. A. E. Ohr
                                        The Electors proceeded to ballot for
President of the United States, for the term beginning from
the requirements of the Constitution and Laws.
                                        Mr. J. Frank Parren nominated
William McKinley of the State of Ohio. For President of the
United States for the said term.  Mr. Alban G. Thomas seconded the
nomination.
                                        The President appointed as tellers Messrs.

        The ballots of the Electors were deposited in a ballot box
which had been delivered in the tellers Messrs Ohr & McCullough
who on counting the ballots, reported that eight votes had been
cast and that all of them were for William McKinley of
the State of Ohio for President of the United States, and that
no other person had been voted for.
Whereupon, It was decred by the Chair that William McKinley
of the State of Ohio, had received eight (8) votes for
President of the United States, from and after the third day of
March next ensuing being the whole number of votes
to which the State of Maryland is entitled.
                            On motion of Mr. Henry Brent the Electors
proceeded to ballot for Vice President of the United States,
for the ensuing term.  Mr. Henry Brent nominated
Theodore Roosevelt of the State of New York, for said
term.
        The President appointed as tellers Messrs. Hooper and
Messick.
        The ballots of the were deposited in a ballot box which
had been delivered to Messrs. Hooper and Messick,
who on counting the ballots, reported that eight (8) votes had
been cast, and that all of them were for Theodore Roosevelt
of the State of New York, for Vice President of the United
States, and that no other person had been voted for.

The President then directed the Secretary to prepare the
several forms of the certificates for the signatures of the Electors.

Whereupon the Secretary prepared the following form of certificate,
