1876 A. Hendricks of the State of Indiana received Eight votes for Vice President of the United States of America. The annexed Lists of the said persons with the votes given to the same whereby returned by us the Electors of President and Vice President of the United States in and for the State of Maryland in pursuance of the Constitution and Laws of the United States as having the aforesaid number of votes. Done at the City of Annapolis on the first Wednesday of December being the sixth day of said month in the year 1876. In Witness whereof we hereunto subscribe our hands and affix our seals. List of the person voted for as President of the United States of America by the Electors of President and Vice President of the United States in and for the State of Maryland. Samuel T. Tilden of the State of New York received Eight votes for President of the United States of America. We hereby certify that the above is a true list of the person voted for by the Electors of President and Vice President of the United States in and for the State of Maryland and the number of votes by him received. Witness our hands and seals this sixth day of December 1876. |
