State of Maryland Minutes of 1980 Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland. At 11 A.M. , on Monday, December 15, 1980, the Electors for President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland, assembled in the State House in Annapolis. There were present Dana C. Beard, Keith S. Franz. Robert H. Goldsmith, Vera P. Hall, Patricia A. Hincken. Isabella C. Lynch. Harry J. McGuirk, Walter Meinhardt, Austin C. Powell and Marjorie A. Stanley. Harry J. McGuirk was designated President and Marjorie A. Stanley was designated Secretary. The following proclamation, in sextuplicate, was received from Governor Harry Hughes of Maryland. GOVERNOR'S PROCLAMATION DECLARING THE ELECTION OF ELECTORS OF PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES 1980 WHEREAS, from a certified copy of the Declaration of the Result of an Election held in the State of Maryland on Tuesday, November 4, 1980 for ten electors of President and Vice President of the United States, made and trans- mitted to me by the Board of State Canvassers, in accordance with law and filed in my office, it appears that: DEMOCRATIC PARTY
