                                            CHAP. XXX.
An ACT to repeal an act, entitled, An act to alter the place for
    holding elections for delegates to the general assembly in Baltimore
    county.

    II.  Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That an act, entitled,
An act to alter the place for holding elections for delegates to the general
assembly in Baltimore county, passed at a session of assembly begun and
held at the city of Annapolis on the twelfth day of May, in the year seventeen
hundred and eighty-eight, be and it is hereby repealed.
An act repealed.
                                            CHAP. XXXI.
An ACT enlarging the time for collection of officers fees by execution.

    BE it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That it shall and may
be lawful for all and every person and persons who executed the office of
sheriff in any county, next before the last general election of sheriff, and
for all present and future sheriffs of any county in Maryland, and all and every of
the said sheriffs are hereby authorised and empowered to receive and collect, by
execution or otherwise, all officers fees which have been or shall be put into their
respective hands for collection within the time limited by law, in the last year of their
respective offices, and all fees which became or shall become due to the said sheriffs
respectively for official services performed in the second year of their respective offices,
in as full and ample manner as the said sheriffs respectively might or could have
received and collected the same during the time of their being sheriffs respectively,
for the space of one year next ensuing the expiration of their respective offices.

    II.  Provided always, and it is enacted, That before any collection as aforesaid
shall be made of the said officers fees by execution, the person hereby authorised
to collect the same, shall deliver to the person from whom the same is
demanded, or leave at his or her place of abode, a particular account, written in
words at full length, of the several services for which the said fee are charged,
and shall make the following oath, or affirmation, before some justice of the
peace, to be written on the same paper with, or annexed to, the said account:
" I, A. B. do swear or affirm, that I have received no part or parcel of the money
or tobacco charged in the above account, or any security or satisfaction for
the same, except what is credited in the said account."

                                            CHAP. XXXII.
An ACT to make valid the proceedings of Augustine parish,
                                            in Cæcil county.

    WHEREAS the vestry and inhabitants of Augustine parish, in Cæcil
county, have neglected to meet and elect vestrymen and church-wardens
for the said parish, on the two Easter Mondays last past,
agreeably to the law for the establishment of select vestries:  And whereas the inhabitants
of said parish did, by appointment, meet on the fourteenth day of
August last, and make choice of a vestry and churchwardens for said parish;
Preamble.
    II.  Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the appointment
of vestrymen and churchwardens of the fourteenth day of August last, and
all transactions by them done since said appointment, are hereby made valid, any
law, usage or custom, to the contrary notwithstanding.

                                            CHAP. XXXIII.
        An Additional Supplement to the act to regulate public ferries.

    BE it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That from and after
the first day of February next, every person to whom a licence has been
or shall be granted to keep a public ferry across Chesapeake bay, shall be
obliged to carry on board each public ferry-boat a good and sufficient anchor and
cable, a small yawl with a good pair of oars, and also hatches, and a substantial
