CHAP. I.
An ACT continuing an act, entitled, An act for amending the staple
of tobacco,
for preventing frauds in his majesty's customs,
and for the limitation of officers
fees.
The act of 1763, ch. 18, was continued
until the 25th of December 1769. It was afterwards continued
by the act of 1769, ch. 7, until the 1st of October, 1770; and by the act
of September, 1770, ch. 1.
it was continued until the 22d day of October, 1771, when it expired. |

CHAP. II.
An ACT to repeal part of an act, entitled, An act for destroying Crows
and Squirrels
in particular counties, and of red Foxes in Kent and
Queen-Anne's counties,
so far as the same extends to Somerset, Dorchester,
and Worcester counties.

CHAP. III.
An ACT continuing an act, entitled, An act for the speedy recovery
of small debts
out of court, before one justice of the peace.
The act of 1763, ch. 21, is continued
for seven years, &c. It was afterwards continued for seven
years, &c. by the act of November, 1773, ch. 13, but that act, together
with the principal act, has been
repealed by the act of June, 1777, ch. 12.. |

CHAP. IV.
An ACT continuing an act, entitled, An act for the gauge of barrels
for pork,
beef, pitch, tar, turpentine,
and tare of barrels for flour and bread.
The act of 1745, ch. 15, is continued
for seven years, &c. It was afterwards continued for seven
years, &c. by the act of November, 1773, ch. 15; and for seven years,
&c. by the act of May, 1781,
ch. 29. |

CHAP. V.
An ACT continuing an act, entitled, An act to remedy some evils relating
to servants.
The act of 1750, ch. 5, is continued
for seven years, &c. It was afterwards continued for seven years,
&c. by the act of November, 1773, ch. 12; and for seven years, &c.
by the act of Mary, 1781, ch. 29. |

CHAP. VI.
An ACT continuing an act, entitled, A supplementary act to the act,
entitled, An
act ascertaining the height of fences, to prevent the
evil occasioned by the multitude
of horses, and restraining horse-rangers within this
province; and to redress
the great evil accruing to this province, by the multiplicity
of useless
horses, mares and colts, that run in the woods.
The act of 1750, ch. 25, is continued
for three years, &c. It expired with the session of 1769; but
the act of that session, ch. 18, has the same title with the act of 1750,
ch. 25, and contains nearly the
same provisions. That act of 1769 was suffered to expire, and the
act of 1750, ch. 25, was revived, and |
