over there without the Danger of horse and man and the Branch is soe myery
that there is no passage besides the many Freshes that happens Your Petitioners
humble prayes that your worshipps would take it into Such Consideration that
there may be a Speedy Care taken therein and your Petitioners as in Duety
bound Shall for Ever Pray.
The above petition presented but referd to the next Court to the Considera-
tion of a Grand Jury.
Henry Gibbs Servant to Thomas Vaughun adjudged to be 14 years and to
Serve according to Law etc.
Michall Murphey Servant to Charles Bevens adjudged to be 15 years and
to Serve according to Law etc.
Mary Hine Six years of age in October next by the Consent of her Mother
Hannah Hine was Bound to Serve Bartholomew Goff till Sixteen years of age
in Consideration the Said Goff is to cause the Child to be learnt to read and
to sow plaine worke and to give her at the Expiration of her time two Suits of
apparrell and other necessarys belonging to womans wareing aparrell one Suit
to be of Serge and the other of Pennistone.
Ordered that William Groome pay unto William Conley three Hundred
pounds of Tobacco for ten Dayes attendance for the Said Groome at the Suit
of Joseph Addison.
Ordered that Ann Hooke have one Hundred and twenty pounds of Tobacco
of William Groome for four days attendance for the Said Groome at the Suit
of Joseph Addison.
Ordered that Joseph Addison Pay unto John Deakins two Hundred and tenn
pounds of Tobacco for Seven dayes attendance for the Said Addison against
William Groome.
Richard Garrell desiers this following Deed of Guift of his for the use of
Hannah Jones his Daughter in Law may be recorded (Viz.) a Cow and Calf
they and their Increas being marked with a Cropp and Slitt and under bitt on
the Right Ear and the left Ear Whole they and their Encrease unto the Said
Hannah and her heires forever.
William Kinsland desires to have his Mark recorded (Viz.) 2 Slitts on the
Right Ear and a Cropp and a hole on the Left Ear.
Then the Court adjournd for one hour.
