SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That if the corporators,
|

or the president and board of managers, shall refuse
|

or neglect, for twelve months, to fill vacancies, the
|
 
|
Orphan's Court of Cecil county, for the time being,
|
 
|
shall have authority to fill them; that this charter
|
 
|
shall not fail because of remissness to fill vacancies
|
 
|
or to keep up a board of managers, but appoint-
|
 
|
ments, by the Orphans' Court, shall have the same
|
 
|
effect as if the members were elected or appointed
|
 
|
according to the former provisions of the charter ;
|
 
|
the president, in case of removal or vacancy, shall be
|
 
|
elected by the managers; and that the said cemetery
|
 
|
shall be exempt from taxation of every kind.
|

AN ACT to continue in force the act of eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and seventy-two, chapter four hundred
|
 
|
and twenty, entitled "an act to revive, re-enact
|
 
|
and amend certain sections of the act of eighteen
|
 
|
hundred and fifty-two, chapter three hundred and
|
 
|
sixteen, entitled an act to authorize the appoint-
|
 
|
ment of a commissioner to take testimony, to
|
 
|
provide for the recording of copies of wills and
|
 
|
other papers, of which the originals were lost by
|
 
|
the burning of the Court House in Dorchester
|
 
|
county, and to remedy, as far as practicable, the
|
 
|
evils likely to ensue from the destruction of the
|
 
|
records of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
