charter of any company desiring to take advantage

of any of the provisions in this article contained,

any property, real, personal ar mixed, owned under

or by virtue of any of the provisions of this article

or any stock preferred or otherwise, or any bonds

or other evidence of debt issued under or by virtue

of any of the provisions of this article.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 323.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners

of Queen Anne's county, in their discretion, to

pay a sum of money, not exceeding three thousand

dollars, to erect a bridge over Wye River, in said

county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Authorized.

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Queen

Anne's county, be and they are hereby authorized,

in their discretion, to levy upon the assessable prop-

erty of Queen Anne's county, a sum of money, not

to exceed three thousand dollars, or so much thereof

as may be necessary, to erect a bridge over Wye

River, in said county.
