Cornelius Shivers. Provided, that before the Comp-

troller shall issue his warrant upon the Treasurer,

under the provisions of this act, he shall require each
|
 
|
and every one of the aforementioned pensioners to

provisions of this law, showing the identity of the

claimant, that he or she is a bona fide resident of the

ant or claimants, once in each year, counting from

the passage of this act, renew such affidavit proving

the fact that of a bona fide residence within the State
|

of Maryland, and said claimant or claimants con-

tinue to be in indigent circumstances; and provided
