a toll bridge, with proper gates and bars to secure

the same, and to ask, demand and receive as toll for

passage of the said bridge the following sums of

money, to wit: for every foot passenger three cents;

Rates of toll.

for every horse and rider, six cents; for every cart

or wagon with two horses or mules or oxen, twelve

cents; for each cart or wagon with four horses,

mules or oxen, eighteen cents; for each pleasure

carriage with one horse, ten cents, with two horses,

eighteen cents, with four horses, thirty-five cents;

for each head of horses, mules or cattle, four cents ;

sheep, swine, &c., each three cents.

SEC. 2. And be, it enacted, That this Act shall take

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section seventy-nine

of article two of the Code of Public Local Laws,

hundred and eighty-five, and to repeal and amend

and re-enact sub-section two of said article, and

sub-title as by the said act was added and enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
