CHAPTER 253.

 

AN ACT to incorporate the purchaser or purchasers

 

of the Kent County Rail Road Company into a

 

new body politic, under the name of the Kent

 

County Rail Road Company, or such other as they

 

may adopt, and to allow the same to be consoli-

 

dated with the Smyrna and Delaware Bay Rail

 

Road Company, and to incorporate the "said com-

 

pany when so consolidated.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

New body
politic.

Maryland, That the purchaser or purchasers, and

 

his or their associates of any railroad belonging to

 

the Kent County Rail Road Company, whether such

 

sale be under the decree or order of any court of

 

competent jurisdiction, or under the provisions of

 

any mortgage or deed of trust duly executed, shall,

 

upon the confirmation of such sale, or the execution

 

of the deed or deeds purporting to convey the

 

property so sold, become a new body politic and

 

corporate in fact and in law, under the name of the

 

Kent County Rail Road Company, or such other as

 

they may thereafter adopt, and shall be deemed and

 

considered the stockholders of the capital stock ot
