SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Harford county are hereby authorized
and directed after said index or key is finished as

the assessable property of said county, a sum suf-
ficient to pay for the same, not exceeding the sum
of two hundred dollars.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 213.

AN ACT to repeal section three of the act of the
General Assembly of Maryland of eighteen hun-
dred and sixty-four, chapter forty-four, entitled " a
supplement to the act entitled an act to incorporate
the Frederick and Emmittsburg turnpike Com-
pany, " passed December session, eighteen hundred
and forty-four, chapter one hundred and thirty-six,
and re-enact the same with amendments.

Repealed and
Re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section three, of chapter forty-four,
of the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January session of eighteen hundred
and sixty-four, entitled "a supplement to the act en-
titled an act to incorporate the Frederick and Em-
mittsburg Turnpike Company," passed December
session, eighteen hundred and forty-four, chapter one
hundred and thirty-six, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows:
