newspapers in the county or city in which said de-
faulters have held, or may be holding office, and in
no other newspapers, the names and titles of said
officers with the amount of said deficiencies, and the
cost of advertisement of the account of each such

defaulter may be recovered in the name of the State
against the official bond of such defaulter. But no
defaulter whose accounts have remained unsettled
for over five years shall be advertised.

CHAPTER 207.
AN ACT to amend and alter the charter of the City
of Annapolis.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section thirty, of article two, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel county,
as repealed and re-enacted with amendments, by
chapter two hundred and two of the acts of the
General Assembly, passed at the January session,
eighteen hundred and seventy, be and the same is
hereby repealed, and re-enacted with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

SECTION 30. The boundaries of the City of Annapo-
lis, shall be as follows: Beginning at the water's
edge at Windmill Point; thence by a straight line
to Sycamore Point; and thence again by a straight
line from Sycamore Point to the wharf at Fort
Madison; and thence by a drawn line from the
wharf at Fort Madison to the south wall of the
Naval Academy, at the eastern terminus of Hanover
street, and following the present enclosures of the
Naval Academy to the Severn River, at the north-
eastern terminus of Tabernacle street; thence along
the south shore of said river and College Creek to
the head of said creek; thence by a straight line
