January session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, be and the same are hereby repealed, amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|

Five count: commission-ers.
|
SEC. 79. There shall be five County Commission-ers for Anne Arundel county, who shall be, and they are hereby required to meet in the office of the Board of County Commissioners in the City of Annapolis, the first Tuesday in each month, and as much oftener as the public interest may require, and shall continue in session at least two days during each session of

the Circuit Court, and one week at their meeting in January for the purpose of making transfers.

Divide county
Appoint suitable person.
|
SUB-SECTION— SEC. 2. Said commissioners shall divide the county into seven collection districts as follows : the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and eighth election districts shall each constitute one collection district, and the City of Annapolis shall constitute the remaining or seventh collection district in said county, and the county commissioners of said county shall annually, in the month of March, or as soon thereafter as may be practicable, appoint a suitable person for each of these collection districts, to collect the county and State taxes which may be levied in each of these collection districts, nor shall they be interested directly or indirectly in any contract, in which the county may be interested.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect, except as to the terms and effect of sub-section two, which is to take effect immediately from the time of the passage of this act, from and at the expiration of the time for which the present County Commissioners of AnneArundel county were elected.
