said lots be sold, at any time, to any but to white citizens, for which class this depositary of their dead is intended to be provided ; and that a certificate, under seal of the corporation, of the ownership of any lot, shall, in all respects, have the same effect as any conveyance from such corporation of said lot would have, if executed, acknowledged and recorded, as conveyances of real estate are by the laws of this State required to be, and which certificate shall be signed by the president and secretary of the said corporation for the time being; and that the repeal of said section four shall not injuriously affect or prejudice the rights or interest of any person heretofore acquired under said section.

CHAPTER 235.
AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and sixty-three of the acts of the General Assembly, passed at the January session of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled " an act to incorporate the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Fed-eralsburg, in Caroline county," and to substitute the following in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That chapter one hundred and sixty-three of the acts of the General Assembly, passed at the January session of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled "an act to incorporate the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Federalsburg, in Caroline county," be and the same is hereby repealed and the following enacted in lieu thereof.
