CHAPTER 209.
AN ACT giving the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland, to a legacy bequeathed by John Sweeden, late of Carroll county, deceased, in his last will and testament to the Elders of the Maryland and Virginia Eldership of the Church of God.

Sanction to bequest.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is hereby given to the bequest in the last will and testament of John Sweeden, late of Carroll county, deceased, to the Elders of the " Maryland and Virginia Eldership of the Church of God. "

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 210. AN ACT for the protection offish in the waters of Garrett county.
|
|
Not lawful.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act, it shall not be lawful for any person to take, catch or kill any speckled brook or river trout, or to have any such trout in his or her possession except during the months of May, June and July, under penalty of

Penalty.
|
five dollars for each trout so caught or had in his or her possession, but this section shall not prevent any person or corporation, from catching trout in any manner, or at any time, in waters owned by them or upon their premises, to stock other waters.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
