SEC. 2. And be it enacted, Thai the present Mayor, Counsellor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis shall continue to perform their duties as, such until the election and qualification of their successors, and

that in the meantime any vacancy occurring in the said board by death, resignation or otherwise, may be filled in the manner prescribed by the charter of the City of Annapolis.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage, and approval by the Governor.

CHAPTER 208.

AN ACT to repeal section ten, chapter five hundred and five, of the incorporation act, passed at January session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, and enact the following in lieu thereof.
