trustees or which may hereafter be vested in them, and all personal property now held by them shall from and after the passage of this act be vested in the said body corporate hereby created and their successors forever, in trust that the said lands and tenements and personal property shall be used, kept and maintained and disposed of for the use of the ministry and membership of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of America; subject to the discipline of usages and ministerial appointments of said church as from time to time authorized and declared by the general conference of the said church and the annual conference in whose bounds the said premises are situate.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall be, and they are hereby authorized to hold by gift, devise, bequest or purchase any other real, personal or mixed property not exceeding twenty thousand dollars in value, and shall have full power and authority to bargain and sell, lease and convey the same in as full and effectual manner as any person or body corporate might do.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Bishop D. Edwards, D. D., Rev.s J. W. Ho we, George W. Staton, H. A. Bovey, D. D. Keedy, J. W. Kiracofe, J. S. Grimm, and their associates now being members in good and regular standing, and their associates and successors duly elected or admitted to the ministry and membership of the said conference, in such manner as has hitherto been customary and permissable by it, or in such manner as may hereafter be adopted or allowed by
