State of Maryland, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows.
 
8. And be it enacted, That Cecil, Somerset, Calvert, Washington, Prince George's, St. Mary's, Caroline, Carroll, Queen Anne's, Dorchester, Wicomico, Montgomery, Allegany, Worcester and Kent counties, and Baltimore city, and all cities, towns, or boroughs in which dogs are taxed by municipal ordinance, be and they are hereby exempted from the operations of the provisions of this act.

CHAPTER 98.
 
AN ACT to pay Levin L. Waters, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset county for fees accruing in his office against the State of Maryland.
 
SECTION 1. By it enacted by the. General Assembly of Maryland, That the Treasurer be authorized and directed upon the warrant of the Comptroller to pay to Levin L. Waters, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset county, the sum of twenty-one dollars and seventy-six cents for services rendered the State as Clerk aforesaid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from and after the date of its passage.
