SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county shall, upon application of any resident or residents of the said county, being the owner or owners of any sink-box, to be used and employed in shooting wild-fowl therefrom, grant a license, under the seal of his court, to such applicant or applicants to gun after and shoot at wild water-fowl from such sink-box within the. waters of Anne Arundel county and of Chesapeake Bay, lying and being within the limits of said county, except in those portions excepted by section one of this act, from the first day of October, in each and every year, until the first day of May next succeeding thereafter.

Grant license.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the applicant or applicants, before obtaining such license, shall pay to the said clerk for each sink-box the sum of thirty dollars for each and every gunning season, as fixed by the preceding section; and the said clerk, for issuing the same, shall be entitled to charge and receive seventy-five cents; and he shall keep a register of the name and residences of the persons to whom he shall issue licenses under this act, and the name and number of each sink-box for the use of which he may issue a license.

Amount of 11-license.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That each and every license issued by authority of this act, shall state the name or names of the person or persons to whom the same may be granted, the name and number of the sink-box licensed, and the periods at which said license shall begin and expire, and every person or persons, to whom such license may be granted, shall be required to paint the name and number of his or their sink-box on some prominent part thereof, in large legible letters or numbers, to correspond with the name and number in such license.

Conditions of license.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That any person or persons who shall use or employ any sink-box without a license having been first obtained therefor, as required by this act, shall on conviction thereof, before any justice of the peace of said county, be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred
