tendered to the owner or owners of said land, and to
the owner or owners of any interest in the same, or
his, or her, or their legal representatives, shall enti-
tle the said Mayor or City Council to the estate or
interest so valued, as fully as if it had been conveyed
by the owner or owners thereof; and the valuation
if not received when tendered may at any time there-
after be received from the said Mayor and City
Council by the said owner or owners.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws, if any, conflicting with the provision of this
act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and immediately after the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 21.

AN ACT to empower the clerk of the county com-
missioners for Talbot county, to administer an oath
or affirmation to any account, to any person pre-
senting a claim to the commissioners against the
county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the clerk to the county commis-
sioners for Talbot county is hereby empowered to
administer an oath or affirmation to any account, to
any person presenting a claim to the commissioners
against the county, but said clerk shall not adminis-
ter such oath or affirmation in any other place than
in the office, and he shall not be allowed any fee for
said service other than that provided for in his reg-
ular salary.

effect from and after the date of its passage.
