the provisions of the Code of Public General Laws
of the State of Maryland, and shall be entitled to all
its benefits and privileges.

 

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall be and
the same is hereby, declared to be void and of no
effect unless it shall be accepted by said conference.

CHAPTER 124.

 

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
for Calvert county to issue bonds, or to create a
sinking fund in their discretion to raise money to
repair public buildings of the county or to build
offices for the Clerk of Circuit Court and the Or-
phans Court.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners for Cal-
vert county be, and they are hereby authorized and
empowered, for the purpose of improving, enlarging
or otherwise repairing the public buildings of the
county, or for erecting an office for the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and for the Orphans Court, to issue
bonds to an amount not exceeding five thousand
dollars in sums not less than fifty dollars, nor more
than one hundred dollars, to be signed by the presi-
dent of the board of said county commissioners and
countersigned by the clerk of said board, with the
corporate seal of the said county commissioners
attached; said bonds to bear interest at the rate of
six per centum, per annum, payable annually on the
first day of July of each and every year, for which
interest proper coupons are to be attached to said
bonds signed by the president of the board of said
