Proviso.
|
the offender after being convicted of the crime shall
refuse to pay the fine imposed by this act, he or they
shall be committed to the jail of the county for every
such offence for the space of ten days; provided,
however, that such conviction shall be made within
sixty days after the offence.
|
Duty of con-
stable.
|
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the constables and bailiffs of the several election
districts of the county, to arrest all persons whom,
they may see violating any of the sections of this act,
and take them before the nearest justice of the peace
to be dealt with as this act directs.
|
In force.
|
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its approval by the Governor.

CHAPTER 105.

AN ACT to repeal section forty -four of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled "Prince George's
county under the title of 'Collectors, " enacted by
the act of eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chap-
ter two hundred and ninety-four, and to re-enact
the same with amendments and to add additional
sections thereto.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section forty-four of article sixteen,
of the code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Prince
George's County, " under the title of "Collectors, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and the follow-
ing enacted as section forty-four, and additional
sections fifty-seven and fifty-eight, of said article six-
teen of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
Prince Georges County under the title of collectors.
