Hall's Cross Roads; thence with the public road to
Willoughby's shops; thence with the public road di-
viding Queen Anne's and Talbot counties to the be-
ginning point.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the place of hold-
ing elections in said Ruthsburg district, or district
number six, shall be at Ruthsburg.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Governor shall
appoint two justices of the peace and one register of
voters for said Ruthsburg district; and the Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's county shall appoint two
constables and one tax collector in and for said dis-
trict number six.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the inhabitants of
the said Ruthsburg district, or election district num-
ber six, shall be entitled in all respects to all the
rights and privileges held, or to be held, or en-
joyed, by the other election districts in said county.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Queen Anne's county shall furnish
a proper book for registration, such as may be re-
quired by law, to be delivered to the register of vo-
ters for said Ruthsburg district; and said clerk shall,
also, at the same time, deliver to said register, a full
list, under the seal of his office, of all registered
persons or voters appearing on the registration books
for said first, second and third election districts; and

trict shall transcribe from said list, and enter in
alphabetical order, in said registration book for said
new district, the names of all persons living within
the limits of and entitled to vote in said Ruthsburg
district, and likewise to register therein the names
of all persons who shall become entitled to vote in
said district according to the laws of this State.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the officers of registration for the first, second and
third election districts to strike from the list of qual-
ified voters, on the registration books thereof, the
