REPORT.
TREASURY DEPARTMENT, January 5, 1853.
In obedience to Article VI, Section II, of the Constitution, and
the act entitled, "an act: to prescribe the duties of the Comptrol-
ler," the undersigned respectfully submits the following report:

In the year ended 1st December, 1852, there was
received into the Treasury, the sum of $1,-
