C - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John Carey being bound to his behaviour Petions the worll. Court to be released thereof Petion Continued Somerset County in Maryland Ss. Whereas information hath been made to us by mr.Stephen Luffe,that mr Lewes. Conner of Elsabeth River in the Collony of Virginia had by his Servant Charles:Galluck One Boat & Sales of about Sixteen foot by the Keel Stolen and carryed away by his sd Servant, and the said Sales are now in the Custody & posession of John Kirk. These are therefore in their Maties name to will and require yt upon Sight hereof to make Search in the most Suspected places within yr hundred but more espetially at the house of John:Kirk, and if found the Sales to Secure that they may be forthcoming to the aforesd Conner, and also to bring y sd Kirk before one or two of their Maties Justices of the Peace for the County aforesd, and to give Security to answer what shall be objected agt him in behalfe of their Maties y second tuesday in January next in relation to the said Sale or Sales, hereof fail not, as you will answer ye Contrary at yr peril.
