To the worshipfull Court now Sitting, the humble petition of John: Winzer. whereas your humble petioner hath
tended nine dayes upon the accot. of Dennis Driskill defendant and your petioner doth desire an Order for
his attendance John: Winzer.
The sd Deponent hath Sworn his attendance nine dayes before me. Samll: Hopkins C


The Deposition of John: Taylor. Smith that the Deponent hath attended as an Evidence in a Case
depending between Robert: Chambers plt. and Michael: Holland deft on the behalf of the plt. four
dayes with coming and going this 13 th day of June. 1691
Sworne before me Samll. Hopkins



To their Maties Justices of the Peace for Somerset County the humble petion of Charles Tindall
humbly sheweth that whereas your petioner is by your worps Order Comitted a prisoner till he shall
bring William: Morris, or give Security for to se him forth coming the next Court, which your petioner
can get no man bound under Such Circumstances. but if your worps will be pleased for to take Security
for your petioners appearance the next Court your petioner can get Such Security which yr. petioner humbly
prayes may be granted, and your petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray. Charles. Tindall.
The premisses Considered petion granted as pr Recognizance.
And whereupon the sd Charles Tindall brought into Court his two Securities viz mr. Edward Jones and Robt
Catlin. and the sd Charles pr Recognizance did confess himself to owe and be indebted unto their Maties in the
the Sum of twenty pound Sterling money of England, and his Securities did likewise confess them Selves
indebted to their Maties in the Sum of ten pounds a piece like money due to be leavied on their good and
Chattels lands and tennements. for their Maties uses &c. - - - - - - - - The Condition of which Recogniz.
is Such that if the above bound Charles. Tindall be of the good behaviour and abearance to all their Mties
Liege people of this Province, as also make his personall appearance at our next County Court to be holden
the second tuesday in August then and there to answer what shall be Objected agt him then this Recognizance
to be void and of none effect Otherwayes to be and remain in full power force and vertue.


To the worll. their Maties Comissioner for this County the humble Petion of John: Burdee humbly sheweth
That John: Rickards of this County Joyner by fraudulent means. did induce and persuade Yor Petioner
to contract and bargain with him for Mary now yr petioners Wifes freedome, whereas the sd Mary was then
free. Now your Petioner is bound by the said fraudulent means to give the sd John: Rickards 15: months
worke in dry dayes, the sd Rickards not allowing 8.9.or10: hours dry weather in One day, if there happen
to be any ---- raine for the remainder of the sd day, So that your Petioner may be all his life in paying
an unjust debt, So your Petitioner may be all his life craves your worps Order that the sd Rickards may
show cause why your Petioner should be enslaved for nothing, and yr. Petioner shall as in duty bound pray

Petion being Read it is Ordered by this Court that John Rickards appear next Court
to be holden the Second tuesday in August in answer the Complaint of John: Burdee.
