Christopher:Snoswell Dft And whereupon the sd Stephen: Luffe by Peter Dent his Attorney - - - - - - - - - - Complains that whereas the sd Christopher ye 24th. day of August in the year of our Lord 1689. at Monocan within the Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to the sd Stephen in the Sum of One thousand eight hundred and twenty five pounds of tobacco being for Sundry goods & merchandizes by the sd Stephen to the sd Christopher before that time Sold and delivered as by a prticuler account thereof here in Court produced may appear, and the sd Christopher to the sd Stephen in manner aforesd being indebted did assume upon himself and to the sd Stephen faithfully promise, that he the Christopher ye sd Sum 1825: Pounds of tobacco would well and truly Content and pay Nevertheless the said Christopher his promise & assumption / verte |
