It was decided in the affirmative. The question then recurring upon the second reading of the bill, Said bill, as amended, was Mad the second time, and or- dered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Kirk, Said bill, as amended, was then ordered to be printed. The House then proceeded to the consideration of next order of the day, being The bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and. 5, of Article XOV., of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Usury," and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows. Said bill being upon a second reading. On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City, The further consideration thereof was postponed, and Said bill made the order of the day, for Wednesday next at 1 o'clock P. M. The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following message: - 'I BY THE SENATE, March 8, 1872. |
