Mr. Chapman from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize, empower and. direct
the Court of Appeals to re-open and repeat the affirmance of
the judgments, orders and decrees in the several cases where-
in John T. B. Dorsey waa appellant, decided at April term,
1869.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Streett, from the Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 90, of Article
LVI, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Licenses,"
sub-title "Oyster or Eating Houses," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Travers, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
Guagers of Casks and Liquids for the City of Baltimore,
and providing for the duties thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to provide for the inspection of
leather in the State of Maryland.
Which was read a first time.
Mr, Groome, Chairman of the Committee on Federal
Relations, to whom had been referred
The Joint Resolutions from the Senate, requesting our
Senators and Representatives in Congress to urge upon the
General Government to make an appropriation for the re-
moval of obstructions near the mouth of the Severn River,
and other improvements to the harbor of Annapolis,
Reported the same favorably.
Also, favorably,
The Joint Resolution in relation to building a postoffice in
the City of Annapolis.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act ceding to the United States of
America the jurisdiction over certain lands on the Potomac
