The hill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 129, of the
law passed at the January Session, 1870, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, relating to the taking of oysters
With scoops in the waters of Fishing Bay, and Honga River,
in Dorchester county,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Dougherty.
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill referred to the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and its
Tributaries.
On motion of Mr. Young, of Washington, (the rules
^being suspended,) .
The House proceeded to the consideration of
The Senate bill, entitled an Act passed January Session,
1870, chapter 11, entitled an Act to repeal section 204, of
Article XXI., of the Code of Public Local Laws for Washing-
ton county, relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables
in said county, and to amend and re-enact said section 204,
article XXI., of the said Code, to read as follows.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
Mr. Young, of Washington, submitted the following
