CHAPTER 418.
AN ACT to repeal section seventy-nine, eighty,
eighty-one, eighty-two, eighty-three, eighty-four
and eighty-five, of article thirty-five, of the Code
of Public General Laws, titled " Elections," sub-
title " Representatives in Congress," and to enact
the following in lieu thereof:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections seventy-nine, eighty, eighty-
one, eighty-two, eighty-three, eighty-four and eighty-
five, of article thirty-five, of the Code of Public
General Laws, titled " Elections," sub-title " Repre-
sentatives in Congress," be and the same are hereby
repealed, and the following sections enacted in lieu
thereof:
79. This State shall be divided into six districts,
for the choosing of six Representatives in the Con-
gress of the United States, which shall be numbered
from one to six.
80. The first congressional district shall he com-
posed of Worcester county, Somerset county, Wi-
comico county, Dorchester county, Talbot county,
Queen Anne's county, Caroline county, and .Kent
comity, and shall be entitled to choose one repre-
sentative.
81. The second congressional district shall be com-
posed of Cecil county, Harford county, Carroll coun-
ty, and the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh,
eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth election
districts of Baltimore county, and shall be entitled to
choose one representative.
82. The third congressional district shall be com-
posed of the wards of Baltimore city, from the first
to the ninth ward, both inclusive, and shall be
entitled to choose one representative.
The fourth congressional district shall be com-
posed of the tenth ward, eleventh ward, twelfth ward,
thirteenth ward, fourteenth ward, fifteenth ward,
