CHAPTER 352.
AN ACT to repeal an Act entitled " an Act to pro-
vide for maintaining and keeping in repair the
Public Roads of Prince George's county," and to
re-enact the same with amendments and additional
sections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the. General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act of eighteen hundred and
seventy, chapter three hundred and fifteen, approved
April fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled
" an Act to provide for maintaining and keeping in
repair the Public Roads of Prince George's county,"
be and the same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted-
so as to read as follows:
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the Circuit Court of.
Prince George's county shall, at their first meeting!
after the passage of this Act, and as often thereafter 1
as vacancies may occur by removal or otherwise,
appoint one supervisor for each one of the election ^
districts of said county who shall serve one year,
and until his successor shall be appointed, subject,k
however, at any time to removal from office by the
said Circuit Court for incompetency or neglect of
duty.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That when any person]
shall refuse to accept the appointment of supervisor >
thirty days after notification thereof, he shall pay a'
fine of twenty dollars, to be recovered by action of
debt, at the instance of the County Commissioners,
before a Justice of the Peace, in the name of the said
County Commissioners, to be appropriated to road
purposes within his district, unless such person so
refusing to accept said appointment shall satisfy the
Circuit Court that he ought not to have been ap-
pointed.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty]
of each supervisor, within sixty days after his appoint-
ment, to lay oft' into sections of not less than one
nor more than four miles--, describing the same by
