SEC. 21. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage, and continue in
force until the year nineteen hundred, and until the
end of the next session of the General Assembly
which shall take place thereafter, and that the Legis-
lature reserves to itself the right to alter or amend
this Act of incorporation at pleasure.

CHAPTER 339.
AN ACT for the protection of Oysters in certain
waters of Dorchester county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for any person
or persons, except bona fide resident citizens of Dor-
chester county, to take or catch oysters for any pur-
pose, in any manner, or with any instrument what-
ever, in the waters of Brannock's Bay, inshore of a
straight line drawn from the end of Hill's Point to
the end of Cook's Point; or in the waters of Cook's
Point Bay or Cove, inshore of a straight line drawn
from the end of Cook's Point to the end of Todd's
Point; or in the [the] waters of Todd's Point Bay,
inshore of a straight line drawn from the end of
Todd's Point to the end of Castle Haven Point; or
in the waters of Lecompte's Bay, inshore of a straight
line drawn from the end of Castle Haven Point to
the end of Howls' Point.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon information
given upon oath to any Justice of the Peace in and
for the county aforesaid, of any violation of the pro-
visions of the proceeding sections, the said Justice of
the Peace shall issue his warrant for the arrest of the
offender or offenders, and the sizure of the canoe or
boat in his or their possession, or used in the com-
mission of the offence, together with the tackle, in-
struments, and all thing's on board at the time of the
