probate in the Orphan's Court for Frederick county,
"bequeathed to the Treasurer of the Evangelical Luthe-
ran Church, (New Jerusalem), formerly known as
the Stone Church, near Lovettsville, in the County
of London, and State of Virginia, the sum of one
thousand dollars, the interest on which is to be annu-
ally applied to the repairs of the church and the
.graveyard attached thereto, therefor
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is
hereby given to said bequest, and the same is hereby
legalized, and the executors of the last will and tes-
tament of said Joseph Waltman are hereby author-
ized to pay over to the Trustees of the Evangelical
Lutheran Congregation, worshiping at New Jerusa-
lem Meeting House near Lovettsville, in the County
of London, and State of Virginia, or to the Treasurer
thereof, the said sum of one thousand dollars so be-
queathed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 228.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section twenty of
an Act passed at the present session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, entitled " an Act to regu-
late the Inspection of Tobacco."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section twenty of the Act passed at
the present session, entitled " an Act to regulate the
Inspection of Tobacco," be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, to read as follows:
