CHAPTER 214.
AN ACT to give the sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland to the vestry of Christ Church
Parish, (Calvert comity), to hold a lot of ground
containing twelve acres, for a parsonage.
SECTION 1. -Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland be and is hereby given to the vestry
of Christ Church, (Calvert county), to hold a lot of
ground containing twelve acres recently purchased
by and conveyed to said vestry by Dr. John C. Par-
ker and Mary Parker, his wife, by their joint deed,
to be used as a parsonage.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 215.
AN ACT regulating fences in Atkinson's Election
District, Worcester county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all fields and other grounds kept for
enclosure in Atkinson's Election District, Worcester
county, shall he fenced with posts and rails, or planks
or worm fence, well staked and ridered, made of good
and substantial rails, at least four feet high from the
ground to the top of the upper rail, and all worm
fences not staked and ridered, shall be at least five
feet high from the ground to the top of the upper
rail, and the first or under rail in post and rail, or
plank or worm fences, shall not exceed- five inches
from the ground or embankment on which the same
is or may be built, and the width between the rails
or planks comprising the fence shall be such as ie
