The bill, entitled an Act to amend chapter 126 of the laws
passed January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to authorize
the Faculty and Board of Trustees of the Washington Uni-
versity, of Baltimore, to use the real estate of said University,
situated on the corner of Calvert and 'Saratoga streets, in Bal-
timore City, as a basis of credit, to raise a sum of money not
exceeding ten thousand dollars, by creating a ground rent
thereon for the uses of said University,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as-
