vide a sinking fund in connection therewith, ap-
proved January the twenty-first, eighteen hundred
and seventy," and said election was so held on the
twentieth day of February, eighteen hundred and
seventy-two, under the pre-existing law as to the
hours during which the polls were kept open.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said election, so held, on the
twentieth day of February last, in the City of Balti-
more, shall be as valid to all intents and purposes as
though the said Act of Assembly had not taken effect
until after the said twentieth day of February.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 63.
AN ACT to legalize the bequest of Mrs. Ann
Stump, late of Harford county, to the Deer Creek
Harmony Church, in Harford county.
WHEREAS, Ann Stump, late of Harford county,
deceased, did, by her last Will and Testament,
bequeath to the Deer Creek Harmony Church, in
said county, the sum of three hundred dollars, and
WHEREAS, According to the thirty-eighth Article
of the declaration of rights, it is necessary to obtain
the sanction of the Legislature to make said bequest
available, therefore
SECTION 1. Be, it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said bequest of the said Ann
Stump is hereby made legal, and the executor or
executors, administrator or administrators, as the
case may be, are hereby authorized to pay over to
the trustees of Deer Creek Harmony Church, the
said bequest.
