of January Session 1864, relating to Dorchester county,
Being upon a second reading-,
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Said bill was recommitted to the Dorchester delegation.
The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,
the House proceeded to the consideration of
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1870, chap-
ter 418, entitled an Act to repeal all those sections of Article
IV., of the Code of Public Local Laws for the City of Balti-
more, title "Inspections," from section 272 to 567 ; also the
following Acts supplementary and amending thereto, to wit:
" The Act of 1861, chapter 35 ; Acts of 1862, chapters 116,
19&, 254 and 283 ; Acts of 1864, chapters 189, 328, 339.
346, 369 and 384 ; Acts of 1865, chapters 6, 165, 192, 194 ;
Acts of 1867, chapters 148, 241, 368 and 381; and Acts of
1868, chapters 128, 295, (except sections 8 and 9 of said Act
of 1868, chapter 295,) and 458, relating to Inspections, ex-
cept sections 410 to 423, inclusive, and sections 458 to 477,
all inclusive, and sections 495 to 547, inclusive, relating to
Tobacco,"
Said bill being upon a second reading,
Pending which,
Mr. Chaisty moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed and the bill made the order of the day for
Thursday next, 8th inst.
