CHAPTER 37.
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, to issue the bonds of said city, to an
amount not. exceeding five hundred thousand dol-
lars, as provided by an ordinance of the said
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, entitled
" an ordinance to authorize the issue of the bonds
of the City of Baltimore, to provide funds for the
building of the New City Hall," approved Febru-
ary the eight, eighteen hundred and seventy-two.
SECTION 1. -Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore, be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to issue the bonds of said city, to the
amount of five hundred thousand dollars, for the
purpose of providing funds for the building of the
New City Hall, and that the ordinance of the said
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, approved
February the eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-
two, and entitled "an ordinance to authorize the
issue of the bonds of the City of Baltimore, to pro-
vide funds for the building of the New City Hall,"
be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That tills Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
