The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi-
nation.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:
I have the honor to nominate George W. Davis as Justice
of the Peace for the City of Baltimore, in the place of
Emanuel Weinman, declined.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi-
nation.

Justice of the Peace for the First Election District of Cecil
county, in the place of W. H. Pearce, whose nomination has
been withdrawn.

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
John F. Stephens as Justice of the Peace for the First Dis-
trict of Cecil county, agreeably to the nomination of the 19th
February, ulto.'
On motion by Mr. Blake,
The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
James B. Sanner and John T. McWilliams as Inspectors of
Steam Boilers in Baltimore City, agreeably to the nomina-
tions of the 28th March, inst.
