1872.] OF THE SENATE. 86. On motion by Mr. Spates, (the rules being suspended,) Said bill was then read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Claggett, Spates, Denson, Sellman Downs, Spencer, Earle, Steiner, Fields Wilson, '-"- Henry, Williams—14. NEGATIVE—None. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv- ered the following message: BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, April 1, 1872. Gentlemen, of the Senate: We have received your message, proposing a Joint Com- mittee to wait upon the Governor and inform him that the General Assembly propose to adjourn at 12 o'clock mid- night, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs. Clark, of Baltimore City, Chapman and Polk. By order, MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk. The House hill entitled an Act to to authorize the Gover- nor to appoint three additional Justices of the Peace for Baltimore county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Compton, - Miller, Carroll, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Denson, Spencer, Downs, Steiner, Earle, Timmons, Fields, Wilson, Henry, Williams—18. NEGATIVE—None.
