Commissioners shall collect all taxes which have not been
collected by the said Town Commissioners, in the same
manner as the taxes are now collected in Baltimore county,
and they shall pay all outstanding indebtedness of the said
corporation, if, in their judgment, the claims presented shall
be just.
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The House bill, entitled an Act to punish the shooting of
foxes in Somerset county,
Being on its second reading, Mr. Dennis submitted the
following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend title by adding after the word "Somerset," the
words "and Washington Counties," strike out the word
"County."
Amend section 1, line 3, after the word "Somerset," by
inserting the words "and Washington Counties," and strike
out the word "County," in same line.
Amend section 1, line 6, by striking out the word
"County," and inserting the word ''Counties."
Which was adopted.
Said bill was then read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
