1872.] OF THE SENATE. 443 EVENING SESSION. WEDNESDAY EVENING, 8 o'clock, P. M. The Senate met pursuant to adjournment. Present at roll call the following Senators : Messrs. President, Blake, Compton, Crawford, Denson, Davis, Henry, Jump, Longwell, Miller, Stephenson, Sell- man, Spencer, Steiner, Tuck, Wilson—14. Mr. Compton, from a Select Committee, to which, had been referred The House bill, entitled an Act relating to Justices of the Peace in Charles County, Reported said bill, with the following amendment: Line 18, strike out the word " one," and insert the word "two." Which was adopted. Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time. On motion by Mr. Crawford, The rules were suspended, so as to give a second reading this day to The House bill relating to the incorporation of the town of Salisbury, in Wicomico county, As required by section 27 of Article III. of the Constitu- tion, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henry, Blake, Longwell, Compton, Miller, Carroll, Stephenson, Crawford, Sellman, Denson, Spencer, Davis, Steiner, Dennis, Tuck, fields, Wilson—18. NEGATIVE—None.
