Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries. Also, The House bill, entitled an Act for the better protection of oysters, clams, terrapins and fish in Synapuxent Bay and its Tributaries in Worcester county. Was read and referred to Messrs. Timmons, Henry and Fields. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to regulate the pay of State's Attorneys in Prince George's county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henry, Blake, . Longwell, Compton, Stephenson, Carroll, Spates, Crawford, Sellman, Claggett, Steiner, Earle, Wilson, Fields, Williams—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to pay Messrs. Knabe & Co., the sum of $1,350, for a piano and cover furnished the Governor's Mansion, Being on its second reading, Mr. Fields moved to strike out in section 1, line 4, "and fifty." Which was determined in the negative. |
