Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 207, chapter 274, entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 31, of the Acts of Assembly of 1865, in relation to the publication of Local Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to amend and re-enact the same so far as the same applies to Washington county. Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Compton, Stephenson, Carroll, Spates, Crawford, Sellman, Claggett, Steiner, Davis, Timmons, Earle, Tuck—17. Henry, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Canton Company of Baltimore, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which leave had been granted, reported A hill, entitled an Act to provide a new Code of the Statute Laws of the State, and to appropriate a sum of money for that purpose. Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed. Mr. Crawford, from a Select Committee, to which had. been referred The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church in Salisbury, to sell and convey certain property belonging to them, Reported favorably thereon, and |
