The Senate bill, entitled an Act to build a bridge over South
river, in Anne Arundel county,
Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment:
Sec. 1, strike out from "river," in last line to end of the
section, and insert "of sufficient width to pass side-wheel
steamers usually navigating said river."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and ordered.
