Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to build a bridge over South river, in Anne Arundel county, Being upon its second reading, Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment: Sec. 1, strike out from "river," in last line to end of the section, and insert "of sufficient width to pass side-wheel steamers usually navigating said river." Which was adopted. Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and ordered. to bo engrossed for a third reading. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to refund to E. W. Mealey a sum of money, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows.: AFFIRMATIVE. . Messrs. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend and. re-enact section 138, of Article XVI., of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," relating to the bonds of trustees, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: |
