The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to E. W. Mealey, of Washington county, a sum of money, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The Senate bill entitled an Act to build a bridge over South River, in Anne Arundel county, Being upon its second reading, On motion by Mr. Tuck, Was laid over for the present. 'The Senate bill, entitled a further supplement to an Act incorporating the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River Tide Water Canal Company, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Stephenson, Compton, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Crawford, Steiner, Denson, Timmons, Downs, Tuck, Dennis, Williams—15. Earle, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 65, of Article XIX., of the Code of Local Laws of Somerset county, relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to re- enact the same with amendments, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : |
