County Almshouse from the legitimate representatives of said
county.
Which was read, and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
Mr. Cooper presented a petition from Mary Roberts, widow
of a Maryland soldier in the war of 1812, for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
Mr. Miller presented the petition of Rev. L. A. Mann,
and one hundred and ten others, citizens of Frederick county,
praying the passage of a law prohibiting the sale of intoxi-
cating liquors in Petersville district, in said county.
Which was read, and referred to the Frederick delegation.
Mr. Rowe presented the petition of James T. Hays, Wm.
S. Guthrie, and one hundred and forty others, tax-payers of
Frederick county, asking that no law or laws be passed tak-
ing control of county property from county commissioners.
Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
Mr. Young, of Washington, presented the petition of
Josiah Buck, and seventy-three other persons, of Wash-
ington county, praying the passage of an Act for the protec-
tion of rabbits in said county.
Which was read and referred to the Washington delega-
tion.
Mr. Miller presented the petition of' Rosetta Trundle, ask-
ing for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Travers presented the petition of Noah Cullison, a-
soldier of the war of 1812, asking for a pension.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
Mr. Litzinger presented the petition of Daniel Lee, for
printing, &c.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Foard, of Baltimore county, presented the petition of
Julia Brown and others, for a change in the pension laws.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
