144 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 24,
A Bill, entitled an- Act to authorize the proprietor' of
''Green mount Cemetery to increase the permanent fund for the
maintenance thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Mr Spencer, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A Bill, entitled an Act, entitled a supplement to an Act,
entitled an Act to lay off streets in Baltimore county, ad-
joining Baltimore City, and to repeal certain Acts inconsis-
tent therewith, passed by the General Assembly of Maryland,
at the. January Session, 1870, chapter 99.
Which was read a first time.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize Robert H. Smith,
Frank Magaw, Joseph M. Simms and James Boyce to build a
'bridge in Harford county,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to issue the bonds of said city, to an
amount not exceeding five hundred thousand dollars, as pro-vide by an ordinance of the said Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, entitled an ordinance for the extension of
Patterson Park, approved June 23d, 1871,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sionors of Dorchester County to re-assess the real estate of
Vachel Keene, lying in Draw Bridge district in said county,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Boards of County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford
'counties, at the joint expense of said counties, to build a
bridge over the Little Gunpowder river, at or near Joshua B.
Green's ford,
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
